Dear Y'all,
I'm sorry for the lack of updates on this site. It's not that I don't love this site anymore. It's just that I've been too busy with a lot of things that I wasn't able to prioritize the updates for Divas & Bitches.
However, I lately realized that I also wanted to write my heart out. I haven't been blogging for a while, especially in my Multiply account (where I post my personal blogs). I wanted to get in touch with myself again.
With this, I created a new blog called Memoirs of a Drama Queer. I hope you'll take some time in visiting my site and share your views with me, too. We can also be affiliates in my other blog if you like, hehe :)
As for Divas & Bitches, I won't close this site. I'll revive this as soon as my PC gets working and my schedule loosens up! This site will remain a music source for y'all. And I'm gonna make this a whole lot BIGGER and BETTER! So watch out for that..

Britney has definitely made it! After the success of Womanizer, her album Circus, and with the release of the title track, Britney has announced that the third single off the album is ---- IF U SEEK AMY.
Hmmmm, well this is my second favorite track from the record (my fave is Unusual You). I find this track controversial. Well Brit may have been subtle with the title. Let's see if you can get what the title really means. Read the lyrics...

Mariah Carey - Hero 2009
Mariah Carey re-recorded one of her, if not the most, signature inspirational song -- Hero. The 2009 version is to promote her latest compilation album, The Ballads. The Ballads album contains some of Mariah Carey's hit and classical singles, primarily during her time at Columbia Records - a delectable treat for all the LAMBS.
This is a compilation I made that features Mariah's 2009 version of Hero, as well as other versions of Hero she's done in the course of her career.

The Vagina Monologues
The Vagina Monologues is an Obie Award-winning episodic play written by Eve Ensler which ran at the off-Broadway Westside Theatre after a limited run at HERE Arts Center in 1996. Ensler originally starred in the production; when she left the play it was recast with three celebrity monologists. The production has been staged internationally, and a television version featuring Ensler was produced by cable TV channel HBO. In 1998, Ensler launched V-Day, a global non profit that has raised over $50 million for women's anti-violence groups through benefits of The Vagina Monologues. The Vagina Monologues is made up of a varying number of monologues read by a varying number of women (initially, Eve Ensler performed every monologue herself, with subsequent performances featuring three actresses, and more recent versions featuring a different actress for every role). Every monologue somehow relates to the vagina, be it through sex, love, rape, menstruation, mutilation, masturbation, birth, orgasm, the variety of names for the vagina, or simply as a physical aspect of the body. A recurring theme throughout the piece is the vagina as a tool of female empowerment, and the ultimate embodiment of individuality.Download here.
